To use CIBC Investor's Edge, open an account online and choose the account type you want, such as a registered account (TFSA or RRSP) or a non-registered personal account. Fund your account by selecting the ‘Cash Transfers’ option to transfer funds from a CIBC bank account into your CIBC Investor's Edge account.

You can easily transfer funds to and from your CIBC account and Investor's Edge account for free. CIBC Investor's Edge offers a rich array of research tools, but you have to phone CIBC directly to access markets outside Canada and the US. Fees for transferring funds between your CIBC account and Investor's Edge account are waived.
